Claire + Aaron booked me for their engagement session within TWENTY MINUTES of their inquiry. They were in a hurry to book a last minute session because they were going to be in town, and it was the BEST idea everrrr.
Fromour quick eight minute phone call, I knew this session was going to be one of my favorites. In their initial email, they mentioned have a love for their dog, Rocko, so they wanted to incorporate him into their photos. And I was 100% down for that. Anytime my couples want to add personal touches (especially when those personal touches include doggos) I’m all “HECK YES.” 😉
These two flames are BGSU alum that met on campus. So naturally, they wanted to document the next chapter in their story back where they started it. At BG there’s a tradition that when two students get engaged/married they go back and kiss on the seal in the middle of campus.
These two made the drive, and I had an absolute blast with these goofballs. I think you’ll be able to tell from the photos that Claire + Aaron made the session so fun. I love it when clients are up for an adventure and trust me to make magic wherever we go! To end the shoot, we grabbed some Starbucks and they snuggled up in the Student Union to warm up from the chilly November weather.
My name's Shannen and I'm FREAKIN' excited that you're here. I'm an Ohio-based photographer. But that's a boring title so I like to say I'm a professional brownie taster, puppy cuddler, and your new third-wheel best friend.
If you're looking for some of the the coolest adventures + seniors + couples, awkward real life stories, and some tips and tools... you're in the right place. Let's be friends. I'll bring the coffee!
