How Does Booking Work?

Head on over to the "Book Me" page and fill out my contact form. I'll respond within 24 hours and we'll chat about what you want and need. Then I'll send you a contract and an invoice. The date and time of your session or wedding will remain open until the contact is signed and the non-refundable retain fee is paid. Once both of those are taken care of, I will save the date!

how do i get my photos?

Photos are delivered to you via email in an online gallery from which you can download individual photos onto your mobile device, or full galleries onto a computer. Along with the gallery you will receive a print release. Each gallery is given their own unique password you need to access your photos. You can also share the gallery URL to friends and family members, order prints and products, and share on social media.

How many photos will I get?

The number of gallery images varies, sometimes drastically, because each session is uniquely you. However, I do not limit the number of images I give in my galleries, so every image that I personally feel (from a professional standpoint) turned out good will be edited and added to your gallery. Typically the images that don't make the cut are either out of focus, unflattering, or near repeats of another image. However, on average, 1 hour sessions include roughly 80-100 photos.

Will I get unedited photos, too?

Unedited, or RAW images, are NOT included in galleries, and they are not sent to clients under any circumstances, ever. As a photographer, my images are my art, and a RAW photo is essentially an unfinished piece of art. If there is a specific editing style you would like for your photos, I would recommend browsing through my galleries and social media to make sure my style is what you are looking for!

How do you take payment?

I require a 30% non-refundable retainer fee when you book. The rest is due before our session. I accept payments via PayPal and Honeybook. 

Do you travel?

OF COURSE!! I absolutely love to travel, and I have a passport, so feel free to take me anywhere in the world! My travel fees are minimal, and simply cover my means of getting from point A to point B and housing. Travel fees begin at any event that requires more than 30 miles one way travel. Message me for more information!

Do you offer mini sessions?

I do not offer regular mini sessions. But be on the look out for special offers around the holidays!

What if we need to cancel/reschedule?

If you’ve already booked your date with me, and for some reason have to cancel or reschedule your wedding/shoot, the retainer fee is non-refundable. In order to book your new date, a new retainer will need to be paid. Please understand I’m not trying to steal your money. I do this because once your date is in my calendar, I’m counting on that money to help pay my bills that month. I’ve also most likely rejected other sessions for that same date.

What if the weather is bad?

Depending on the forecast, I will probably suggest we still have our session. I understand that booking ahead of time makes it impossible to predict the weather. I suggest sticking out crazy weather is because it makes for absolutely beautiful photos. Since I love capturing feeling and emotion over everything, crazy weather like wind and rain has a way of enhancing that emotion in a way that’s breathtaking to photograph! Plus, isn’t it the best thing in the world to dance and make out in the rain!?

Nope! Absolutely not! I figured out how much I would need for my own personal income and to support my business. That is what you are paying for. The donations to my mission come out of my own income, taking away from my coffee fund, not from you! ;)
